Maybe some of you guys are wondering what a health coach is doing posting photos of chocolate chip blondies. What if I told you these are Chick Pea Blondies??? And yes, they taste as good as they look.

Do you have a sweet tooth? What do you reach for when you are craving something sweet? Do you pick up some ice cream? Do you make homemade chocolate chip cookies? Even if you are careful with ingredients and select low fat foods, sugar is hiding in all those delicious treats. And the reality is those sweet treats are just empty calories. What if I were to tell you about a DAILY nutritious snack that also cures your sweet tooth cravings??!!

Introducing your new delicious, healthy, satisfying, sweet snack with chick peas hiding all throughout!!

There is no flour, it's gluten free. There is no butter. There is no refined sugar. This dessert is vegan and legitimately healthy. It tastes as good or better as a dessert you would pick up at your favorite coffee shop.

Before we get too far, let's talk about chick peas... The first thing to know is they are PACKED with nutrients. Chick peas are full of vitamins and minerals. They also have fiber and protein. Legumes in general are always a great source of calcium, magnesium, folate, and various other nutrients. Chick peas are super special because the combination of protein and fiber keep you full longer and lower your caloric intake. It is a PERFECT food!!

Unfortunately when people reach for a snack, it's often something sweet. Unless you are reaching for some hummus, it's not easy to snack on garbanzo beans.

I didn't lead you guys wrong with my Beet Brownie recipe, and I'm not leading you wrong now. Even my picky eater daughter, who watched with a skeptical eye, devoured them.
